Registration for the competition is open to adults who meet the guidelines and rules set forth by the competition. Upon registration, participants are required to pay a registration fee, the amount and deadline of which are determined by the competition's calendar.
TERMS OF SERVICE
Design Unlimited reserves the right to freely utilize and distribute submitted materials through both print and online mediums. While Design Unlimited endeavors to respect privacy and copyright regulations, it cannot be held liable for any potential violations related to submitted material.
Design Unlimited assumes no responsibility for any misinterpretation of provided material. Additionally, Design Unlimited retains the right to clarify uncertain terms or address any doubts regarding the competition through its official channels. The decisions of the jury and Design Unlimited on matters such as formal defects are final and not subject to dispute.
Participants who fail to adhere to deadlines, payment requirements, or any other stipulations are automatically disqualified from the competition without further inquiry. Design Unlimited may request personal data, including date of birth and identification, from participants as needed.
Design Unlimited is not liable for any technical malfunctions of its web platforms but does offer technical assistance to address any issues that may arise.
Payment of a registration fee entitles participants to upload one project. Additional projects may be uploaded upon payment of further fees. Registration fees are non-refundable.
Participants' data may be used by Design Unlimited within the context of its architectural competitions, and Design Unlimited reserves the right to communicate news and updates regarding architectural competitions.
By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by the rules, guidelines, and terms and conditions outlined by Design Unlimited. Participants also consent to the collection, use, and sharing of provided information in accordance with D.lgs. 196/30 June 2003 and authorize Design Unlimited to share such information with its scientific committee.
Recipients of awards acknowledge and agree that all award amounts are fixed and predetermined, inclusive of any applicable bank charges, wire transfer fees, and mandatory tax withholdings, including the standard 30% U.S. withholding tax for non-resident recipients, unless reduced or exempt under a valid tax treaty.
Recipients understand that, under applicable international tax laws, they are required to report and declare the full value of the award, including any monetary components, in their annual tax filings to accurately establish taxable gross income in both the country of origin and their country of tax residence. Design Unlimited accepts no responsibility for additional taxes or reporting obligations beyond the scope of U.S. withholding compliance.
By submitting a project, competitors and their teams affirm that they are the rightful owners of all related rights to the uploaded project.
